Whitacre Greer Project “The Saint” Recognized in 2025 Brick in Architecture Awards

Whitacre Greer Company is proud to announce that “The Saint,” a project featuring their clay pavers, has been recognized in the Paving and Landscaping category of the 2025 Brick Industry Association Brick in Architecture Awards.

The project earned a Silver Award, highlighting the creative and effective use of clay brick in outdoor spaces and landscape design. The Brick in Architecture Awards are among the industry’s most respected design competitions, recognizing outstanding projects that showcase the versatility, durability, and aesthetic impact of clay brick. 

Each year, a jury of architects and industry professionals evaluates projects from across the United States and internationally. In 2025, dozens of projects were selected for honors across multiple categories, including commercial, residential, education, historic renovation, and paving and landscaping. 

Projects in the Paving and Landscaping category highlight how clay brick can transform public spaces, streetscapes, and landscape environments through thoughtful design and long-lasting materials. The recognition of “The Saint” demonstrates the continued relevance of fired-clay pavers in contemporary landscape architecture.

The 2025 Brick in Architecture Award winners will be honored at the inaugural Brick Excellence Gala during the National Clay Brick Expo on April 9, 2026, in Orlando, Florida.

Whitacre Greer Names Stephen Kaboth President, Continuing Fifth-Generation Family Leadership

Founded in 1916 and headquartered in Alliance, Ohio, Whitacre Greer is known for producing high-quality fired-clay pavers and firebrick used in architectural, landscape, and industrial applications across North America. Kaboth’s appointment reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to family stewardship, American manufacturing, and the craftsmanship that has defined the brand for more than a century.
