Target Goals

Distribution:

• Work with current distribution network to meet and exceed annual paver sales goals.
• Educate distributor partners to promote Whitacre Greer pavers through presentations, in person meetings, and events.
• Determine areas where distribution is weak and set up additional distribution if needed.
• Travel with distribution partners to landscape architects, contractors, builders, and architects to assist in education and promotion of clay pavers and Whitacre Greer products.
• Visit distribution parters every year, or more if needed to assist in education at the dealer locations and with landscape firms.
• Partner with distribution partners to in regional events, trade shows, and conferences whenever possible.
• Support showroom displays and sample distribution.
• Attend Whitacre Greer regional events, trade shows, and conferences promoting Whitacre Greer clay pavers and brand. (List to be given.)
• Assist in job site issues and product complaints, when necessary, though distributions partners should be first in line to handle.
• Maintain project list for all distribution partner projects involving Whitacre Greer and follow up with necessary documenting, specifications, and letters as needed.
  • Track projects from early design stages through completion – communicating with architects, distributors, and the plant.

Landscape Architects, Design Firms, and Contractors:

• Build and maintain and educate on Whitacre Greer Products
• Work with landscape architects on specifying Whitacre Greer products on projects.
• Commit to 3 ASLA / CEU credited courses per month with firms in your territory.
• Maintain relationship with target ASLA chapters in your territory by attending, sponsoring, or educating at events.
• Provide technical guidance on product, installation methods, patterns & designs, specifications, governance, and product selection.
• Attend annual national events, trade shows, and conferences promoting Whitacre Greer clay pavers and brand.
  • National ASLA, Brick Expo, LABASH, etc.

Other:

• Respond promptly to all inquiries within 24 hours during working hours – whether acknowledgement of inquiry or solution.
• Identify national account opportunities for Whitacre Greer paver specification
• Plan travel to maximize time spent in-market, improving efficiency and controlling travel costs. Manage your own travel schedule but to be communicated and approved by Whitacre Greer.
• Refer fire brick customers / inquires to Fire Brick Sales Manager.
• Work with Fire Brick Sales Manager if there are any fire brick job site / distributor issues in your territory.
• Support marketing initiatives through project photos, expo / conference photos for social media.
• With support from Whitacre Greer, actively participate in industry partner committees or organizations like the Brick Industry Association, Construction Specification Institute, American Society of Landscape Architects, etc.

Training

• Willing to participate in masonry and governance /standards training if new to industry.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift, carry, and move 50lbs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)

• Ability to manage a large territory independently
• Understanding of construction project timelines
